‘That’s Entertainment’ & ‘Company’: Two musicals to keep you on your feet

Pan Productions are releasing two productions titled “That’s Entertainment“, showing from the 28th of June to the 7th of July 2018, The shows start at 8.30pm from Tuesdays to Saturdays, and Saturdays and Sundays will have 3.00pm shows.

Company” which will be staged from the 12th to the 14th of July 2018 with showtimes at 8.30pm and an extra 3pm show on July 14 (Saturday)! Both shows will be presented at Pentas 2, Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Center (KLPAC).

That’s Entertainment- A night of radio hits!

Bring out your parents and friends to dance the night away, because this show will be a non-stop night of chart-topping hits from the 1950s to the modern day, complete with a live band as well as multimedia projections! “That’s Entertainment” has a star-studded cast as well as a few new faces! Featuring;

Ashley Chan, Alizakri Alias, Dina Nadzir, Izen Kong, John Wee, Kai Chalmers, Lynn Tan, Mae Elliessa, Mia Sara Shauki, Nikki Palikat & Zamil Idris! 

Highlights of the tracks being performed are by Elvis Presley, P. Ramlee, Anita Mui, Madonna, as well as popular artists Adele and Wonder Girls just to name a few.

Coming to you this July is PAN Productions adaptation of one of Broadway’s most acclaimed musicals “Company” by the legendary Stephen Sondheim!

It is a musical comedy about marriage, middle age, and bachelorhood. The story revolves around five friends, who have experienced marriage differently from one another and Robert, a mutual friend who stands alone as a 35-year-old bachelor, who finds difficulty in maintaining long-term relationships

Hit songs from this musical include You Could Drive A Person CrazyLadies Who Lunch and Being Alive. Ng added that the cast of both musicals had been undergoing intense rehearsals daily, where some were in both shows playing different characters.

“This production opened in Broadway in 1970 and remains relevant until today, being performed in different parts of the world. It’s also a great chance to catch this all-local-cast musical right here in Malaysia,” said Ong, who is also the executive producer of Pan Productions.” (Quote taken from The Star)
