Here Are The “Biomechanical” Illustrations Of Taiwanese Artist BioWorkZ

Born in Taiwan, raised in Los Angeles, Ben Kwok (better known as BioWorkZ) is a graphic artist and illustrator. He has been in the apparel industry for almost 8 years.

Ben worked at a silk print company and learned how to separate and mix colors on top of understanding various kinds of inks and how all these elements react to fabric.

He came up with the name BioWorkZ during his college years since he creates loads of biomechanical illustrations.

He strives for highly detailed, rendered, polished illustrations. His main idea of an artwork is to pull the viewer in and hold them hostage in the image. His illustrations have many tiny touches that keeps viewers engaged for much longer than average,

When I could first use chopsticks, I was already doodling on whatever I could get my hands on. I love complex hyper detailed artwork. To lose myself into the “flow” of drawing is about as good as it gets. I’m very passionate about what I do, that’s why I continue doing it.
